I was sick most of this short week (I only came in Monday), and didn't get to do much work in English. I did, however, do a lot of reading, and during that time I got to read more of "The Singularity is Near", by Raymond Kurzweil. It's an extremely interesting read, if a bit dense. I am really enjoying it, although I'm not exactly sure how to structure my essay just yet.
I really appreciate the brief-ness of your blog post, it is quite refreshing! I am sorry to hear that you were sick this last week, we missed you in advisory. It was only the two freshman, two of the sophomores, and Conner and I, therefore not a large group! You must be a part of the large singularity group preparing for will's intercession. I must admit that I do not quite know what singularity is, perhaps you could explain it to me sometime. Look, I've made my comment longer than your actual post. Woohoo!
ReplyDeleteYeah, it's unfortunate that you were sick. The Singularity is very interesting, especially the graphs, but I agree; there are some parts of it that are incredibly confusing.
